Emily and I went to Dollywood without Daddy on June 11th. We had tons of fun!
Here is Emily on the Elephant ride

On the ducky ride
For some reason she doesn't smile while she is on the rides. But she does smile when she talks about them later.

On the Busy Bee's

The pig ride!

Emily was so tired by the time we left Dollywood.
She only lasted abut 5 minutes in the car.

We painted Emily's room pink the day after we went to Dollywood.
Here is what her room used to look like.

This is what her room looks like now!
It's called fairytale pink

Here it is with all the stuff in it.

Emily loves her new pink room!

She was really happy before bed

Playing in the swimming pool all alone.
She put the little bike in there all by herself.

We went to Dollywood again on the 19th and this time we took Daddy with us.
It started raining right after we got there and all the rides except the carousel shut down. Eventually it started raining hard enough that we decided to take cover. After about 30 minutes of sitting on a table under an umbrella J.R. went and got us a drink to share.

Daddy and Emily under the umbrella that kept us dry during the rain storm

There they are!

Emily found a cat on the carousel!

Once she found the cat she wanted to ride on it every time.

Too cute!

Walking through the puddles.
She did a good job keeping her blankie out of the water

Daddy and Emily on the tea cups!

Waiting in line for the tea cup ride!

Once again she crashed pretty soon after we left the park.

One day shortly before Father's Day I told Emily we were going to go Father's Day shopping and she said "aaannd we get him flowers and some fruit snacks!" So the day after Father's day I took Emily to the store and she picked out these flowers and a box of John Deer fruit snacks for her Daddy. He loved it!

These are the pansy's I got for Mother's Day. They were almost dead by the time I transplanted them, but they pulled through. Unfortunatly they got some kind of disease a couple weeks ago and now they are completely dead.

I painted the hall while J.R. was at work one day.
This is the before picture.

Here is the finished product. It is a nice blue.

Looking the other direction.
I didn't like the picture with the lights on, it made the blue look funny in the picture so sorry it's a little dark.
Sounds like you guys have been busy! Mom said you got a pass to Dollywood. How fun! Enjoy the time with just one child.
