Emily was begging me to let her go swimming in February but it was still cold outside so we compromised a little. I let her go swimming the bath tub with her swimming suit on! She had lots of fun!
Emily stopped taking naps in February but some days were still a bit much for her. This was on the way home after a Valentines Day cookie decorating part. We had been in the car for about 10 minutes when Emily said "Mom, there's something wrong with my eyes." I said " What's wrong with your eyes?" and she said " They don't want to stay open!" she was asleep soon after that.
Daddy got Emily a Valentines Day present! Just the other day Emily said "Mother's day is for you Mom and Father's day is for Daddy and Valentines day is for me!"
Emily is getting very good at Mario Kart on the Wii! It's lots of fun to play with her!
Emily's little cousin Wesley came to stay with us for 3 weeks near the end of February. Emily loved having a little friend to play with all the time. I loved having someone else around to keep her busy. The weather was really nice the whole time he was here so we did a lot of playing outside! Wesley is 2 years old.
