A Taste of Tennessee

If you ever come to Tennessee the 2nd or 3rd week of June and you take a trip up Roan Mountain you will see this beautiful site The Rhododendron Gardens

J.R. Emily and I at the overlook

These flowers grow all by themselves every year. There are millions of them! They are at the summit of the mountain and it is well worth the drive
Emily had a great time exploring. She loved to smell and touch the flowers

Down a grassy path

Flower petels cover the ground and give it a fairy tail apperance

Emily and Daddy admiring the flowers
As we walked through the wooded area a little beyond the flowers we saw moss covered trees and a deer! The moss was so soft and pretty. It was so nice and peaceful there. I think we will definetly go back next year.

So Pretty
