Trampoline Fun!

The people who owned this house before us left their trampline for us and we have thoroughly enjoyed it! Emily askes me almost everyday if we can go jump on it. She says "bown, bown" it's so cute

It really wasn't cool enough for a jacket that day but Emily insisted on wearing it.

I had a hard time getting her to jump while she was facing me because she kept wanting to see the video.

Emily loves it when J.R. and I jump with her. She really likes it when I hold her like a baby and jump. She is always trying to get me on there with her!

I love watching them play together.

Emily loves her Daddy so much!

Swinging

Emily loves to swing more than anything else and the park here has a lot of swings. This is the baby swing they have at the park we go to and she loves it!
We usually go with my friend Laura and her kids so she has someone to play with. The phone Emily has belongs to one of Laura's boys but Emily loves it! It plays music and she just loves to hit the buttons and hold it to her ear while the music plays. She was so relaxed here that she almost fell asleep

Fence Project

We decided to build a fence for Emily and Pebbles so I could let them play in the yard without having to worry about Emily getting tangled up in Pebbles chain. Usually when we would go outside I would let Pebbles off his chain so he wouldn't wrap Emily up in it but then I had to keep calling him and sometimes running after him. It was a bit stressfull to spend time outside but now, I love it and so does Emily!
Emily comming out to help!
Playing with a block of wood and a marker
Unfortunatly Emily spent most of her time screaming and crying during this project because, in her oppinion, we were not giving her enough attention. This time the screaming and crying was because J.R. needed to use the marker.
All Better!
She got the marker back

J.R. holding one of our fence posts
Building a little dam in the ditch so the water would hopefully go through our two little pipes instead of flooding our yard. Unfortunatly we needed more pipes. We will be fixing that in a few weeks.
Our first attempt at putting up the pickets.
We didn't like the crooked tops very much.
It's kinda hard to build a fence like this one on a steep slope.

Our second attempt This one left big gaps at the bottom that Pebbles could easily get through

Our third attempt
We liked this one a lot. It looks good and there are no big gaps at the bottom
Finished!
Here is what it looks like now!
The other side of the yard
The pipes are on the grass because it rained so hard last Saturday that it ripped our pipes out of the cement and took them down stream. I should have taken a picture of what our flooded yard looked like. It was pretty bad
Our gate
We think it looks really good
Looking down into the yard
From the time we got the supplies to the time we finished it took 3 weeks. The first 2 weeks we got the posts up and 9 pannels of pickets. The 3rd week we dropped Emily off at a babysitters every evening and worked until 9. We ended up redoing 8 of the 9 pannels we had previously put up. Needless to say we were very tired of the project by the time we were done.
We Love Our Fence!
